Katie is a PhD student in Sustainability at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). She received her Bachelors in Physics from RIT and Masters in Physics from Clarkson University. Her main research focus is on plastics in the U.S. food supply chain
Katie loves spending time with her family and exploring new places. Every week they take an adventure day to drive to a new-to-them town, discover new foods and museums, and hike new wildernesses.
